Biography

Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour is a Nigerian architect and politician who was the Labour Party candidate for Governor of Lagos State in the 2023 election. He finished second with 582,454 votes representing 43.1 percent of valid votes, making it the closest Lagos governorship race against the APC in over a decade. His campaign targeted Lagos’s urban professional class and youth and was one of the most energetic campaigns of the 2023 Obidient wave. He is known for his fluency in Yoruba and his focus on Lagos-specific issues.
